The art director was in a panic because the catalog had to go to print in just over a week and they still did not have a cover image. Solution: The client called Patsi Designs in to illustrate a cover fitting the flavor of the catalog and fulfilling following requirements. The finished illustration had to express summer, it had to be in the style of a flat pattern, the media had to be gouache and it had to be done in one week. Outcome: The final artwork was completed with time to spare and was loved by client. The featured illustration (above) depicts the illustration in several phases of development. We work in many medias including: gouache, watercolor, acrylics and pastels on many different substrates including hardboard and canvas. We can deliver the artwork in a frame, on on a disk or both. Our service does not stop there, we also offer design and layout services that can incorporate the newly created illustration into a magazine or catalog layout for you. If the illustration is to be printed we can work directly with your printer ensuring production exactly to the printers specs.
