The requirements included: Size to be 9 x 11, media of gouache. In order to ensure the piece reflected the clients vision, I produced a series of thumbnails, some value studies, a color comp, and then the final. Project Name: Portrait Illustration Artist's Comments: To produce an exaggerated portrait, male or female, it must show head and hands. Pastels were the artist's choice of media. Four different models were used, each posing in various shots. From that selection this one was chosen for the subject of the piece. The final piece measured 18 x 24. Anglia was featured in the CMYK Magazine in the January, 2002 issue.
