The job assignment was to design and illustrate a cover using the midrange B and C series Engines, using customer’s pantone colors, limit 2 colors, I used screens of brown with black, I worked with photos of the engines and produce flat pattern art for each engine and drop into customer approved cover design. The job assignment was to produce an exploded view of the installation of the Rocker Hammer. Customer provided engineering drawing. From the engineering drawing we produce the isometric drawing in a view to show mechanics how the parts go together and come apart for working on the engines. (I can work either with drawing or the parts if drawing not available.) Artists Comments:
We were contracted to layout and design 80 page exhaust catalog and 6 wall charts showing the entire line of mufflers. I supplied 3 catalog cover designs for approval and set up catalog and wall charts per customer specification. Made changes and supplied to customer all computer generated files for their catalog specialist for printing. Artists Comments: We were provided with the physical parts from which we were to create black & white line art drawings for sales ads and parts catalogs. The resulting illustrations were created in Adobe Illustrator and provided to their marketing department in print and on disk. Artists Comments: The job assignment was a two part assignment. Part I was to produce line drawing of ironing boards, covers and other household products for use in the ad slicks. Part II was to take existing color patterns and redraw into black and white art for newsprint ads.
